        I'm in bed right now but mommy is typing a msg for me--we got a pretty new red dress on Ebay that arrived and it looks wonderful with my new banner and crown! She's taking me to get pictures done but we're waiting for the outcome of nationals first--I am so excited! Mommy put my city pins and an angel pin on the back of my sash that has Photogenic on it, she says its really nice and I am taking it to show my Daisy Girl Scout friends at our pizza party tomorrow! Don't worry--I'm not getting pizza on it though. :P

All too many times the big pageants put beginners & those who cannot afford unnatural coaching & prompting at a political disadvantage. I even competed in large pageants where I'd find out the judges knew some of the contestants & it never failed that the same girls won year after year!

Comments:    Mrs. Lynanne: I wanted everyone to know how proud I am to be your Tiny Miss American Rose Mississippi State Queen and Photogenic Princess for 2000-2001.
    The crown, banner, certificates, and trophies for the City level were very nice, but the State level awards (especially the trophies-since I entered the trophy option) were very nice and at the very least, comparable, and in some cases nicer, to any other pageant that I have participated in. (The trophy tops look like sculpted ice, if you are debating on entering state level, trophy option competition!) Thank you Mrs. Lynanne. (Mom thanks you, too!)

Comments:    Just a comment for Lauren-- Don't give up on your dreams! Reach for the stars! I entered the Pre-Teen Level after my mom thoroughly researched this pageant-- I can vow that it is not a hoax or scam-- IT IS FANTASTIC!! I won my City Level, as well as Talent and Photogenic-- and I am waiting to hear about the States.... It has been a great experience so far.. The prizes were GREAT! My sash and crown are beautiful and I am very proud to wear them! The trophies and certificates were also lovely and of good quality. We were actually surprised at how nice everything was and how professional it was presented. I was so happy that there was a pageant out there that did not require me to travel too far or spend lots of money-- AND I could still be recognized for my achievements and accomplishments. I could not be happier and I can not be prouder to say that I am part of the Miss American Rose Family. Thank you Miss Lynnanne for such a wonderful opportunity and experience!!! Good!

    Thank you for your support! My mom dosn't wanna read anything but I guess I will have to deal with it. I was in a pageant May 27th of this year and I had to pay $425 of sponsorship for my entry fee and photogenic competion and pageant video(which sucks) and I didn't get one thing, except for a letter aferwards with my scores and then I got one from a company friend of the pageants saying I was invied to the nationals in Dec. in Orlando FL. I really wanted to go, but can you guess the price? Almost $4,000.00 for my whole family of 4 including Airfare, for only one free day in Disney. I went to D.C. for less than that with my family and airfare. I was so thrilled when I saw the price and I sat for hours readong the guestbook and the wounderful comments!         I am the proud mother of 3 Royalty title holders within this pageant system. I read your daughter's comments in this guestbook and I wanted to share this message with you. I can assure you that this pageant is not a scam or a hoax. My 3 children have competed "several" times in the last couple of years with this pageant. You can currently see all 3 of my children's pictures all over the website. If it was a scam, I certainly would not have entered my children futher than the City level. My daughter won her City title as well as State and a National title. My oldest son is the Summer Prince and my youngest son is a Knight. As for the prizes, well, we have no complaints here! All 3 of my children have won huge trophies, beautiful crowns and sashes as well as toys and not to mention that after the director of the pageant, Lynanne, gave my one son a $100 savings bond, she was so thoughtful and out of the kindness of her heart, she went the extra mile and bought my other ch!
ildren gifts so they would not feel left out. Who else does this and for such an affordable entry fee? If you know anything about pageants at all, most entry fees are outrageous and sometimes some of the contestants go home empty-handed. You have the opportunity as a Mother to be encouraging and supportive of your daughter's growing and independant decisions. What a gift you have been given! Don't let your daughter down. Guide her and help build her strengths. This is such a positive experience. I hope that you reconsider and let your daughter enter.

Sonia really does have everything; the hieght, the hair, perfect skin and a beautiful toned and defined body. She won the swim suit competion in the Miss Maryland pagent and and also the best smile category respectivly. Comments:    Hello Everyone!!! Hope you all had a nice 4th!!! We sure did. I just wanted to say that Nicole has had many oppurtunities representing the Miss American Rose System. Yesterday beat them all! A church here in town sponsored a 4th of July celebration. Around 35,000 people were expected to attend, well over 100,000 attended!!! We had planned for Nicole to pass out lollipops to the crowd while representing her title. Well, not only did she do that, she was brought up on the stage, in front of thousands of people, and was introduced by our Senator and was able to meet two of our Congressmen who attended!!! She was given the microphone to say hello, well she ended up singing "God Bless America" in front of all those people!!! Way to go Nicole!!! I can not wait until our pics get back:) This is something we will never forget. Thank you Miss American Rose for allowing my daughter the oppurtunity to represent your system and gain self respect, self esteem, stage presence, and confid!

Comments:    What a nice pageant site!     Sent in my daughter's entry today (she's 5). I would recommend this pageant to others, several of my MAA (Miss American Achievement) sister queens have recommended it highly. I love the idea of a pageant for little girls where I don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a wardrobe.     My daughter loves going to appearances with me and now she can try for a title of her own without putting mommy in the poorhouse! Visiting others and making appearances are the best rewards of being a queen!! Not winning onstage and saying how you beat out the others. Never forget that ladies! Being a true queen is being gracious and respecting your accomplishments and those of others equally.

I think it's so wonderful that the directors of Miss American/World Rose sacrifice so much to recognize outstanding individuals and their accomplishments. I was never aware that there were excellent mail-in pageants like this one until I heard about it from a dear friend. I think this pageant is outstanding and I am extremely thankful that such a great effort is being made to build the confidence of individuals in the U.S. and around the world. I know the titles received have given recipients a new sense of achievement and have encouraged them. What a motivational opportunity!
