Angelia White received awards for selling the most Girl Scout cookies, and having the most community service hours in her service unit!

Miss World Rose 2007-08, Jennifer Holes, has been inducted into the United States Achievement Academy Yearbook and the National Honor Roll Edition!

Amanda Miller received a $4000 Michigan Promise scholarship for next year. She also was named co-captain of the varsity pom pon team at her school!

The Poulsbo-area Miss American Rose royalty brought in $194 and 420 pounds of food for their local food bank. Their previous food drive brought in $102 and 295 pounds!

Elizabeth Weyer, National Supreme Queen 2002, graduated as a valedictorian from her high school in May. She received several scholarships. She also received the Iowa Bar Association American Citizenship Award, the Gallon Grad Award from the local blood bank, was a state semi-finalist in the E. Wayne Cooley athlete/scholar application process, and was a State Outstanding Attorney in Mock Trial. Elizabeth volunteers as a certified EMT-B and works as a life guard. This fall she will be a college freshman honors student with a focus on pre-law!

Miss World Rose 06-07, Typhani Janelle Russo, has been elected President of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society at Penn State University!

Jennifer Holes was accepted and is
receiving a full scholarship to Pennsylvania  Free Enterprise Week 2007!


Typhani Janelle Russo (Miss World Rose) has been selected by the Young Women's Christian Association as one of their "Tribute to Women" honorees.  She has been chosen to receive the "Rising Star" award!

Karigan McCurry has been nominated by her teacher, Ms. Huffman to attend the 2007 National Young Scholars Program!

Ashley Patterson was accepted into her local volunteer fire department!

Melissa Jones just started Culinary school at Florida Community College at Jacksonville and hopes to become an Executive Chef. She plans on working for Disney when she gets her Associates degree!

Erica Smith graduated from Remington College with a degree is in criminal justice!

Ms. Carter Lake City Queen, Nicole Boettger, just earned her private pilot certificate.  She is planning on continuing her flying studies.

 

Lauralee Jacks was inducted into the National Honor Society, and is in the process of getting her book published by PublishAmerica.  She is also doing volunteer work at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville for 50 hours a month.

 

Aned Muniz Gracia was selected as this year's winner of the Associated Student Government's Outstanding Faculty Award at Mira Costa College.
 

Ariyn will be representing Miss American Rose at a
Hurricane Relief Benefit,  in the local paper, in a parade and hosting a Princess Party.
 

Ariyn Collins won 1st Runner Up in America's Most Beautiful
Baby Competiton out of 30+ kids and won Miss Angelface US in Miss Angelface US
Pageants!
 

Alyssa Petersen (2002 National Jr Queen) tried out and made the Iowa State Pom Squad "All Iowa Honor Drill Team".  They performed between the state 3A and 4A girls basketball championship games to live music by Sawyer Brown!
 

Shantel Dixon, Ms. Mississippi State Queen, has recently left private practice to go in house with a large international insurance company. Shantel recently won Division Supreme at All American Miss Nationals in Birmingham, and also won Division Supreme at Southern USA Nationals in Panama City Beach. She was appointed to the Gender Fairness Re-Focus Sub-Committee of the Women in the Profession Committee of the Mississippi Bar.

Lani Hatcher, Ms. Florida State Princess, is expecting! The blessing is currently scheduled to arrive in March. 

Megan Smith volunteered at the Oklahoma City Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon. She helped at the commissary serving folks and got some photos done with some celebrities!

Megan Smith attended both the Sacred Heart Festival and the Festival La Florecita (Little Flower Festival) both in Oklahoma City during the summer and had a
great time doing both!

Ms. Philadelphia City Queen, Elizabeth Johnson made a celebrity appearance at the Citizens Bank Grande Opening of a new branch in Willow Grove, PA. She shared the day as a guest celebrity with Greg Luzenski, former player of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. 


Bryce MacKenzie Sweely was named 2005 National "Star of the West" for  America's Pampered Prince and Princess!


Elizabeth Johnson of Philadelphia started Mother's Day 2005 off on the right foot. It was as a walker in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 15th Annual Philadelphia - Race For the Cure, a 5K walk to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. 

Elizabeth Johnson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania participated as a walker at the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, Inc. Annual Teal Ribbon 5k walk/run. The walk took place in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, PA in May 2005.

Philadelphia Queen, Ms. Elizabeth Johnson participated in the King of Prussia Firefighters parade.  She rode in the ladder truck at the head of the parade high above at the crowd.  She was accompanied by the city commissioner. 

 

Elizabeth Johnson was a participant in the annual March of Dimes – 35th annual Walk America 5k walk.  The walk took place in March 2005 at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley , PA  

 

Elizabeth Johnson competed in the American Queen Mid-Atlantic Regional pageant. 
She won 1st place runner up for which she was rewarded with a trophy.

 

Jennifer Holes was honored with the Presidential Educational Excellence Award during an Awards Ceremony held in May 2005. With her middle school years ending, Jennifer graduates in the Top 10 of her class!  

Jennifer Holes won the title of Jr Miss Royal Star USA National Queen in June 2005 at Miss Royal Stars USA National Pageant!

Megan Smith was named Oklahoma Cinderella Miss Cover Girl and placed 4th Alternate at the state pageant in May!

Aubrie Simpson won the title Teen Miss Heart of America St. Augustine City Queen

Angelia White won overall in the Miniature Miss division of the Cinderella Olympic Peninsula Pre-lim!

Raechel McGuire participated in Lacey's Little Angels Photo Contest & received an honorable mention!

Megan Smith, Jr. MAR Oklahoma-participated in the Miss Rose State College/Midwest City Pageant as a runner. She took flowers and gifts to the contestants. She also danced to a crowd of 1000 at her first public dance performance!

Kendra Strickland finished her first semester at Texas Woman's University 
with a 3.7 GPA. She is continuing toward her goal of making the Deans List. 
She was also chosen as the 2005 Miss Teen Christian America.

Megan Smith competed in the OKC Cinderella Pageant Preliminary and won Overall Cinderella Miss title! 

Aned Muniz was named a "Woman of Impact" at the University of San Diego!

Erin Teague was chosen as the Miss Christian American Pampa City Teen Queen!

Kendra Strickland was a celebrity judge at the Denton County Cinderella Pageant! 

Kendra Strickland helped raise money for Queen For A Day by handing out 
flyers and helping run a booth at a craft fair in Grapevine, Texas. 
She was named the 2005 Miss Teen American Volunteer! 

Raechel McGuire participated in a regional All American Dream Stars pageant where she won prettiest eyes, prettiest hair & Most Photogenic!

Kendra Strickland was choosen as the 2004 Ms Christian America Pampa City 
Queen. She is now going to participate in the state and national level 
competition.

Raechel McGuire participated in a State Level Universal Miss & Master Pageant where she won Divisional Supreme!

Reianna DeSimone was awarded cheerleader of the week!  She joined the team in their 3rd week was chosen cheerleader of the week for her dedication and hard work.

Alyssa Bragg, Junior Miss California City- City queen 2004, her essay on Spaceship One was chosen to fly in the space craft on Monday, October 4, 2004 to be launched in space!

Jennifer Holes was (1 of 8 classmates) accepted into the Talent Search Program at her school for the 2nd consecutive year! 

Laura Holliman, Miss American Rose Chino Hills won the Ultimate Natural 
Beauty title for September in the Reigning rhinestones contest!

Angelia White was promoted to 5th grade reading even though she just began 2nd grade!
She is also in 3rd grade math with her sights set on 4th grade math in a few months.

Kendra Strickland, Miss USA Rose, was accepted in to Alpha Theta Omega, which is a local Christian sorority at Texas Woman's University! She will now go through a seven week pledge process to become an official member.

Kendra Strickland has become a member of Trailblazers, the Texas Woman's 
University spirit squad! She will help cheer at volleyball and soccer games.

Hollie Maples competed in a a Glamour Modeling Pageant! She won Most Photogenic!

Raechel McGuire competed in a Glamour Modeling Pageant! She recieved a 3rd Runner Up Title!

Deidra Morris Won Sportswear,  2nd runner up in Talent, and 4th Runner up Over all in the National American Miss Princess Pageant in Washington

Raechel McGuire participated in a Regional Sunburst Pageant at The Commons in Federal Way, where she won Overall Queen & prettiest eyes! 

Rebecca Eliseo was accepted to graduate school at the University at Buffalo to achieve her Master's Degree in Social Work! 

Rebecca Eliseo recently won the title of Mrs. Pageant Gal American and was the high point winner!

Hollie Maples won 1st place in pajama wear, 1st place Western Wear, 2nd place Partywear, 2nd place portfolio, 3rd Place swimwear, and 3rd Place Streetwear at the State American Amateur Model and Talent competition!

Maryann Kehoe has been named Mrs. Atlanta International 2005! 

Raechel McGuire was interviewed for the News Tribune, who wrote a 2-page article about her & her pageantry experiences!

Raechel McGuire competed in a Regional Cover Miss Pageant! She won prettiest eyes and was 3rd Runner Up!

Hollie Maples competed in a Regional Cover Miss Pageant! She was 1st Runner up and won best personality!

Angelia White, Deidra Morris, Hollie Maples, & Raechel McGuire won 1st place for royalty in the Silverdale Whaling Days Parade!

Reianna DeSimone stars in a WalMart commercial which will be aired aug 27- sept 10 during Oprah, Dr.Phil, David Letterman and other shows as well!

Raechel McGuire has been asked to attend the Pierce County Fair as a helper to the Graham Fire Dept. She will be showing kids how to stop, drop & roll & handing out saftey literature!
Reianna DeSimone volunteered for Welcome America in Philadelphia on Kids' Day with her mother.  She has been collecting money for MDA Jerry Lewis Telathon 

 Reianna DeSimone also placed 1st runner up Sportsmodel 2004 at the American Coed Pageant! 

Raechel McGuire donated several stuffed animals she collected to Graham Fire Dept for Kids in Crisis!

Casey Morton won a National Queen title in the All American Miss Nationals in Alabama! She was also crowned Beauty Supreme at Hawaiian Luau National Pageant in Alabama!!

Casey has collected over 28 bags of children's clothing in the past 2 months for the Tennessee Outreach Center and Also donated clothing and toys to the local orphanage!

Raechel McGuire participated in the Port Orchard Fathoms O' Fun Parade where she won a 2nd place award for Visiting Royalty without a Festival float!

Raechel McGuire brought 2 dozen homemade cupcakes to her local fire department for firefighters to enjoy!

Jennifer Holes received straight A's for the 4th grading period!

Kendra Strickland graduated from Pampa High School in May. In the fall she will be attending Texas Women's University to become a Fashion Designer and Pageant Trainer!

Raechel McGuire competed in Miss American Starlet and won a princess trophy! She also made an appearance at Graham Safeway for prostate cancer research Day and raised $105 towards a cure.

Katrina Trolan graduated Griswold High School with High Honors all year long! She will be attending college in the fall to become a Medical Assistant.

Michaela Rader participated in a local talent competition in an age division of 2-12.  She received first place, qualifying her to perform at the Iowa State Fair talent competition.  She has also been asked to perform her solo show twirl routine to “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” at the opening ceremony of the Iowa Games at Jack Trice Stadium (the Iowa State University football field!)  

Selina Peake will graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology.. Selina was also awarded the Best Alumni Award for Omega Phi Alpha, National Service Sorority, Epsilon Chapter 2003-2004!

Nicole Weinrich has maintained straight A+'s for the third marking period.  She was also selected as a member of her school's Mini-Model Congress Team and Golf Team.  For the next few weeks she will be kept very busy, because Nicole is running for President of her student council.  Wish her luck!

Angel Blankenship entered the America's national teen and won a $10,000 college scholarship! 

Ashley Patterson is now a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic. She took her national test and passed. She now has her Wyoming State and National certifications!

Elizabeth Weyer (Miss American Rose National Supreme Queen 2002) was a lawyer on her Mock Trial team which won their Regional Competition.  Elizabeth received all A's (and two A+'s) on her third quarter report card. In February, she was elected President of her Venture Scout Crew!

Lauralee Jacks has recently been awarded the following: Little Miss Vogue Miss February 2004, Teen Universal Gem 2004, Miss Sweetheart National Photo Contest Grand Supreme 2004, Southern Sparkles and Smilz 13-15 Age Division Supreme, USA Fabulous Model Photo Contest 10 Up Pro Supreme, Gold Honor Roll (straight A+ average), and 4-H Public Speaking County Winner!

Congratulations to Laura Sahlender who was recently crowned the Grand Supreme in the Miss Pretty in Pink Ribbons Breast Cancer Charity contest. Some recent photo contest wins include: Little Miss Vogue January, Sunshine Majestic 15+up divisional queen for January and Fairy Tale Dreams January Grand Supreme Portfolio winner!

Ashley Patterson was named Miss Carbon County Coronet 2004. She also made the Honor Roll her first semester of college!

Elizabeth Weyer, our 2002 National Supreme Queen, has retained her 4.0 GPA once again!

Another former queen (Miss USA Rose) Stephanie Crisp just finished her first semester in college- made the National Dean's List- also spent June - December doing lots of photo shoots- she shot for Teen Hairstyles Magazine-was on the cover of Model Look Magazine- was in Valley Living Magazine(regional) for their special bridal edition- also did a test shoot in NY for some editorial work!

Megan Smith was named a National Princess for Little Ms. America World Ambassador!

Reianna DeSimone won Supreme Overall for her age division and for sportswear. She was also awarded a community service award!

Jenna Jabri just signed with Baker and Rowley Talent out of Chicago for modeling/acting!

Reianna DeSimone received a Perfect Attendance & Honor Roll award at school!

Amberlynn DeSimone was a Hostess for Crowning Beauty! She also received a Perfect Attendance award at school.

Melayana Wilson was crowned Overall Supreme at Crowning Beauty!

Raechel McGuire won prettiest smile in Little Miss Halloween Photo Contest and she won Prettiest Hair in Little Angels Photo Contest!

Raechel  McGuire traveled to Cornelius, Oregon for Miss American Belle Pageant. She won Princess in her age division, Prettiest Eyes in her Age Division, and took Overall Most Beautiful!

Megan Smith won her age division photogenic and beauty titles at Midwest City Sunburst!

Dawn Green went down to the Arizona Veteran's Home with a local TV & radio station. She was there about 3 hours and got the chance to hug and thank Veterans from WWII on!

Megan Smith is the 2003-04 Oklahoma's Our Little Miss Universal Princess 7-9 year old! She won the title  in Oklahoma City as being the highest scoring contestant other than queen!

Reianna & Amberlynn DeSimone with Melayna Wilson raised money for Children's Miracle Network, cleaned a park, visited a nursing home to give out treats and more! They also plan on making gift baskets for the elderly and will be in a Thanksgiving Day Parade! They have also won several recent pageant titles.

Kendra Strickland was nominated for the national ambassador program with People to People!

Mia Maciel-Todd won overall photogenic, front cover model winner, bes model, and
pretiest eyes, and a Crowning Beauty pageant preliminary in Murrietta! Graciela Fabiano won best attire, she won overall age group, front cover model winner, prettiest eyes, and best model, and most photogenic!

Bella Eustice made an appearance at the Star Spangled Sweethearts Michigan State (Grand Rapids) pageant!  She wore her sash and crown and proudly represented her Miss American Rose title.

Kendra Strickland was voted reporter for the Pampa High school chapter of the Texas Association of Future Educators! This is her first year  participating in the organization.

Jessica Bauer, London City Queen, and Logan Maynard, Autumn Knight, along with some friends went to The Crooksville Fall Festival where they won a first place trophy for best theme as the Wizard of Oz!

Melvatean Lampkins was crowned this October for the national title of "2004 Miss Sweetheart of America"! 

Nicole Turner was crowned Miss Teen Arizona International 2003! She traveled to Chicago, IL to compete for the title of Miss Teen International and placed as third runner-up for the international title!

Casey Morton has collected and donated over $500 dollars worth of food for the Third National Harvest Food Bank this year, over 75 garbage bags full of clothing for Tennessee Outreach Center, more than 10 garbage bags full of toys so far for the 2003 Toys for Tots Campaign, more than 50 coats and jackets for the 2003 Coats for the Cold Campaign and has just started doing Meals on Wheels with her mother for the Fall 2003 year!

Stephanie Crisp (Miss USA Rose) was named the winner of the Supermodels Unlimited Cover Model Search! Look for her on the cover of the Fall issue of Supermodels Unlimited!

Reianna DeSimone received two certificates from State Representative Ronald Waters for Achievement! Rochelle DeSimone participated in a 23-hour telethon for MDA and was interviewed on live TV! Reianna, Amber, & Rochelle DeSimone were all invited to ride on a queen float sponsored by their state senator!

Maryanne Kehoe was recently married, as was Ginny Masterani!

Elizabeth Weyer, Miss American Rose NSQ 2002 is having a busy Freshman year so far. She was elected Vice-President of the Freshman class, was chosen Arts and Entertainment Editor of the school newspaper, was selected for the Jazz Band, and is a Varsity runner for the Cross Country team!

Avalon Theisen was crowned Little Miss Sunburst St. Petersburg (FL), also winning best attire, most photogenic and best personality.  She also placed 1st runner-up in the Sweet Pea Pageant!

Rhiannon Dressel-Beattie won Overall Supreme in the Sparking Star Photo Contest!

Katie Badowski sang the national anthem with the Voices of McChord at the opening Seattle Seahawks game!

Maryanne Kehoe got married July 9th in Blackpool, UK!

Avalon Theisen has been invited to be on the Song and Dance Performance Dance Team for 2003-2004!

Reianna, Rochelle,  and Amberlynn DeSimone participated in their community parade with state represenative Ronald Waters and their pictures will appear in the city paper the public record!

Rochelle DeSimone will be attending the Jerry Lewis Telethon. She is donating her time to help muscular dystrophy by answering phones!

Alyssa Petersen won the state title of Junior Miss Teen USA Excellence Iowa!

Ashley Patterson was crowned Miss Carbon County Rodeo, appeared at some animal shows and handed out awards, helped serve at a free dinner for the fair contestants, appeared in the rodeo parade, and talked with future royalty!

Alyssa Petersen made the Varsity Wrestling Cheerleading Squad and the Competition Cheer Squad for her 2003-2004 freshman year!

Roxanne Underhill won 4th runner up at a Colorado State Pageant and is going to Nationals in November!

Melvatean Lampkins was accepted into the prestigious International High IQ Society in New York City! She also modeled at a fashion show at Chicago's O'Hare Holiday Inn for Fashion Bug, is the 2003 Miss Sweetheart Wisconsin, and will be starring in a play Heaven's Gate's Hell's Flames in September!

Alyssa Petersen attended an NCA cheerleading camp, while there she tried out and made the National All American Cheerleading Squad that will perform at the Hula Bowl in Maui, Hawaii!

Hollie Maples won the Miss Sweetheart award and the 2003-2004 International Tot Personality award at the Cinderella National pageant!

Reianna DeSimone was 3rd runner up at the National Rainbow pageant in West Virginia!

Reianna, Amberlynn, & Rochelle DeSimone have been busy volunteering this summer and even started their own fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House!

Janeane Amos will be cheering for the Litchfield Dragons Freshman Football Squad!

Jenna Jabri won first runner-up in the Baby division of the Miss Angelic Queen Nationals as well as winning the National Optional of Natural Beauty.  She is also Baby Miss American Sweetheart Lucas County and a SweetDreams Supreme Queen age 0-1!

Venus Bulandus graduated G-8, Queen of Angels Catholic School with 3 awards:
Principal's award for straight A's, Leadership and People Respecting People! Venus also appears on Venus is on page 27, Winter 2003 issue of Pride of  Pageantry.

Alyssa Petersen was confirmed at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport, Iowa! She also attended a week long "Just For Kix" dance camp in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, with her high school pom squad.  She won the Firecracker Award for sportsmanship, learning all that was taught and helping others.

Selina Peake was nominated as one of the National Collegiate Minority Recipients in the United States Achievement Academy's Collegiate Yearbook!

Angelia White won a 2nd place award representing Miss American Rose in the Shelton Forest Festival Parade. She also just graduated from Kindergarten from both public and a private school!

Alyssa Petersen made A honor roll for her entire 8th grade year.  Next year (9th grade) she will once again be a member of the T.A.G. (talented and gifted) team! She also made football cheerleading for her 2003-2004 freshman year.

Elizabeth Bowers was named Tennessee Jr. National Teenager! She also made the National Honor and was nominated and accepted into the Who's Who in American High Schools.  Elizabeth also placed third in the district for VFW Voice of Democracy essay!

Ashley Patterson was named Miss Wyoming National Teenager!

Julia Boyd won Sunburst California State Teen Miss Queen for 2003.

Elizabeth Weyer (National Supreme Queen 02) has won the Band Director's Award for 8th grade band members! She also was the long jump champion at her Superconference track meet.

Lauralee Jacks competed in the USA Beauties State Pageant today where she won the 
title of 12-14 year Queen, Best Personality, Most Beautiful, Prettiest 
Eyes, Pro-am winner, and Overall Photogenic! She also won 8 and Up 
Mini-Supreme in the SEFPC (Southern Elite Free Photo Contest) for May/June.

Ashley Patterson graduated from high school, and passed the national registry to become an EMT!

Virginia Willow Hill joined Julee Carlson's team for the Great American Bake Sale!

Rebecca Eliseo, Miss American Rose New York State Queen, recently  graduated from the University at Buffalo with a double major in  psychology and political science!

Elizabeth Bowers is the 2003 Universal Jr. Teen Achiever and Kimberly Roderick is Ms. Plus US National Achiever 2003!

Kate Kryzstofiak made cheerleading for the 2003/2004 high school season and is undefeated for this years track season!

Janeane Amos has been on the all-A  honor roll all year and is to receive the  PRESIDENTIAL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE to be given out at the end of her eighth grade year!

Lauralee Jacks competed in the Alabama Sunburst State in Birmingham, Alabama and won the "5-27 year Overall Grand Supreme  Queen"! She also won "Brown Photo Supreme" in the "Rainbow Beauties" Photo Contest!

The United States Achievement Academy announced today that Elizabeth Weyer has been named a United States National Award Winner in Art!

Ashley Patterson was accepted into the radiologic sciences program at Weber State University!

Katie Badowski won the title of Ms. Washington American States!

Angelia White was in her first live pageant and won divisional talent along with a princess title!

Alyssa Petersen (2002 National Jr Queen) auditioned her jazz duet "Think" in Chicago for Star Search!

Sarah Petersen tried out for next years show choirs...she made the co-ed prep show choir "Center Stage" and Varsity Singers Choir for her 2003-2004 sophomore year!

Megan Smith won the Cinderella Mini Miss Overall title at the Oklahoma City Easter Pageant on April 12, 2003. This is her first live pageant title!

Katie Perry made an appearance at the Texas Masonic Retirement Center! She handed out Easter treats to the residents, and even danced for them.

Alyssa Petersen (2002 National Jr Queen) tried out and made the Varsity Pom Squad and the Competition Pom Squad at her high school for her 2003-2004 Freshman year.

Lauralee Jacks coordinated a community-wide drive in Fayetteville, TN to help a family of five whose mother was dying of cancer. Lauralee collected more than $1000 in goods, cash, and gift cards! Lauralee also won Highpoint in the Sophisticated Lads and Ladies March 2003 photo contest, and 12-14 year Queen, Most Beautiful, Best Personality, and Prettiest Eyes in the USA Beauties Easter Pageant.

Amanda Miller competed in 11 dance numbers at Premier 2000, receiving 2 first place, 7 platinum first place, and 2 titanium (97% or higher) first place scores! She has also been spending time working for The Humane Society!

Lauralee Jacks received cash, medals, and certificate awards at the Lincoln 
County 4-H Awards Banquet in TN for achievements in Local and County 
Photography, Local Speech, Local Demonstration, and Local 4-H Poster projects!

Lauralee was also named Miss March in the Little Miss Vogue 2003 Photo Contest!

Lauralee Jacks made the Gold Honor Roll for the fourth six weeks. Her GPA 
is a 4.0 (Straight A+)! Lauralee also won 12-14 year Age Division Queen, Most Beautiful, and Overall  ProAm at the USA Beauties Valentines Pageant in Tennessee!

Katie Badowski was named Ms. Pageant Gal WA 2003 and was a runner up for the U.S. Title! 

Nerissa Neal received a 3.94 GPA first semester and made the President's List at Virginia Tech! 

Roo Hines was recently crowned the 2002-03 Grand Overall Supreme Boy at the American Dream Queen and King National pageant held in VA Beach! He also won 2002 Superior Master Holiday Angel at Priceless Moments Holiday Charity Pageant!

Katie Badowski met and received photos and autographs from Drew Carey (the comedian) and Roger Clemens (NY Yankee)  as part of the Christmas USO tour! Katie is currently serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in the country of Qatar. 

Ashley Patterson was recently accepted to attend Weber State University in Utah and she was also accepted into the EMT training program at the local hospital!

Kimberly Roderick has been selected as "Ms. California WorldWide Spirit 2003"!

Rhiannon Dressel-Beattie, Jamie Shere, Christina Baker, Hanh Chau, Shauna Connelly, and Laura Giordano recently competed in the 2003 Christmas Spirit Pageant. Rhiannon won the title of Little Miss Christmas Spirit. Jamie won the title of Miss Christmas Spirit and Christina was her 1st runner-up. And Laura was the 1st runner-up to the title of Ms Christmas Spirit.

Lauralee Jacks was named Pageant Parade's "2003 Model Sensation of the Year 
Winner". Lauralee will be featured in every 2003 issue of Pageant Parade!

Alyssa Petersen participated in the KAR (Kids Artistic Revue) dance competition.  Her tap duet to "Rock This Town" got a Top 1st divisional award and a 3rd High Point Award.  Her jazz duet to "Think" got a Top 1st divisional award and a 2nd High Point award.  She was also named a KAR Kid and invited to New York City for their Annual dance convention!

Roxanne Underhill made the Pricipal's Honor Roll for the first Trimester. She was also excited to find out yesterday, that out of 95 kids that  auditioned for the school play, she made one of the 15 spots!

Katie Perry made her first appearance at the Texas Masonic Retirement Home as part of her "Rose for Every Season" community service project!

Sarah and Alyssa Petersen participated in the Quad City Christmas Pageant.  Alyssa won the 12-13 year division and was crowned overall Supreme Princess.  Sarah won the 14 and over division and was crowned overall Supreme Queen!

Alyssa Petersen participated in the Hollywood Vibe Dance Workshop that was held in Davenport, Iowa! She also did her tap and jazz dance as well as power tumbling at the Quad City Festival of Trees, with her dance studio, Dance Unlimited!

Lauralee Jacks competed  at Glitz and Glamour's Miss Christmas Pageant where she won Queen in the 11-13 age group.  She won the prettiest smile and best dress side awards for her age group!

Elizabeth Weyer was named an outstanding attorney and an outstanding witness at regional Mock Trial. Her team again placed 2nd overall!

Kimberly Roderick competed at the Universal Miss Pageant in Vacaville, calif and was first
runner up in the Mrs. division and won photogenic and won talent ! 

Alyssa Petersen did the Iowa Pre-Teen Pageant this past summer and was just informed by the National Pre-Teen Pageant that she is a national scholar winner!

Amanda Miller received had a 4.0 report card for the first quarter of school! She also found out that, in spite of being below the age requirement, she has been selected as a Junior Zookeeper for next summer at Binder Park Zoo.

Lauralee Jacks did the Miss Victory pageant and won 10-12  year Queen, Most Photogenic, Best Dress, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, & Prettiest Smile! She also won the 2002 Foto Faces Overall Prettiest Eyes title in the Foto Faces Photo Contest!

Alyssa and Sarah Petersen, along with Janeane Amos and Kate Kryzstofiak attended the program "Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago" at the Adler Theatre in Davenport, Iowa! 

Royal Happenings Janeane Amos and Kate Kryzstofiak both made Chain Reaction Showchoir This is Janeane's 2nd year and her and Kate looking forward to performing together!!!!

Stacey Cronan (former royalty) gave birth to a baby girl on Oct. 22nd!

Lauralee Jacks walked 12 miles for the American Diabetes  Association Walk. She raised $500 for this great cause! She walked in memory of her grandmother who died last year with complications  of diabetes. 

Aletha Milam will be doing her first appearance with her state title at Catherine's Plus Sizes in Houston!

Debbie Goldstein was named as a recipient of ABI's Woman of the Year 2002 Award!

Jamie Shere competed in a California Cinderella prelim in Newport Beach, CA and won the Overall title for the Cinderella Woman division! She also competed in the All American Family California Pageant and won the title of California State Opal Queen and Most Beautiful in the Opal division!

Courtney Williams won  at the Sunburst Pageant (preliminaries) in Nyack, New York.  She received best personality, best smile, most photogenic and queen/pre-teen  11-13 division.  She was also chosen to represent the Mr. & Miss Big  Apple Pageant in New York as an ambassador!

Elizabeth Weyer has a new "sister", Kirsti. Kirsti is from Norway and will be living with Elizabeth's family for the school year!

Amber Freeman collected hats and scarves at the "CANCER RELAY FOR LIFE"  in Mt. Pleasant.  This was her 1st. relay and collected over 150 hats and scarves to be given to the University of Iowa hospital and children's hospital to children and adults that have lost their hair due to chemotherapy & radiation treatments.   Anyone that would like to donate hats or scarves to Amber can do so please send them to      'Hats For Cancer"  Amber Freeman  209 S. Alyssa Petersen went to Colorado to make some appearances.  She was a guest at the USS Shea Navy Reunion and attended their banquet in Colorado Springs.  While there she also visited the USA Olympic Training Center, Flying W Ranch, Air Force Academy and Garden of the Gods.  She also toured the Budweiser brewery in Ft. Collins, Colorado and a shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary in Pine Bluffs, Nebraska.  She got a chance to talk to many people about her National Jr Miss American Rose Title while visiting these places
!

Sarah Petersen and her mom helped out at the New Star Discovery Baby Pageant in Bettendorf, Iowa.  Sarah got to hand out awards and spent the evening talking to people about her title and the American Rose Pageant.

Amber Freeman was in the Ft. Madison rodeo parade she also attended the street dance and barbecue afterwards!

Janeane Amos was in the Swamp Fox Festival Talent show ant tied for third with her Cherokee stick routine. She is preparing this act for  a National Talent Competition in Orlando Fla. She will also be entertaining at several Fall festivals this year doing Cherokee sticks, plate flipping, and juggling, and ribbon dancing!

Leah Anderson had a baby! Joshua Ian weighed in at 9lbs 1 1/2oz and was 20inches long.

Courtney Williams ranked 4th in the nation at a national cheer competition in Minnesota. She also will be visiting Florida to perform with her cheer team, Liberty Ladies, during Thanksgiving!

Lauralee Jacks made "The Nutcracker" auditions today for the Huntsville (Alabama) Community Ballet Association and will be performing as Clara in "The Nutcracker" this winter!

Amber Freeman spent 4 days at the Old Threashers reunion working the gates & performing in shows.   She was introduced as American Rose royalty at several different events.  She also had her picture taken with the new sweet 16 queen!

Alyssa Petersen attended Wilton Days and was in the parade as National Jr Miss American Rose, on her dance studios float which won 3rd place!

Karley MacMillan hosted her first Princess Project Party on Thursday August 22 at Mary Bridge Childrens' Hospital for a beautiful four year old girl named Savannah, who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  Both Savannah and Karley had a great time and now are friends for life!

Katie Badowski will be singing in the Seattle Seahawks inaugural game halftime show on Sept 15!  She will also be singing at  Liberty Shores, Assisted Living Community in Poulsbo- for a special event to honor WW II veterans on Sept 6.
